Witton & Ridlington Parish is a village and civil parish in North Norfolk.  At the time of the 2011 Census, a population of circa 318 residents was recorded.  It falls within  the catchment of North Norfolk District Council.

The Council is made up of members who all live in the village and represent the village on various matters.  We are effectively the third tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.  Currently, three Councillors have been appointed by North Norfolk District Council and three local representatives have been co-opted, leaving one vacancy on the Council.  Please contact the Clerk if you are interested in joining the Parish Council.

Witton & Ridlington Parish Council is responsible for:

  • ​Commenting on planning application
  • The village notice boards
  • General maintenance around the village
  • Maintenance of 2 red telephone boxes which have been adopted from BT
  • Liaison with outside organisations
